We’re sure many of you are beginning (or finishing) your family’s preparations for Christmas Eve. I hope you’ve realized that Christmas Eve is on a Sunday so I want to explain what our day will look like here at Community.
Our Sunday morning will have its regular schedule with 8:30am and 10:30am worship. We will light the 4th candle on the Advent wreath and Rev. Ryan Motter will be preaching at both services. Millie Edwards will provide special music at 8:30 and the 10:30am service will be filled with music with both the bell choir, and the chancel choir, as well as counter-tenor Todd Gregory Gibbs performing with Jonathon Antle.
THEN, at 4pm Tim and Millie will be back to lead our family candlelight service and our chancel choir will lead the 7pm classic candlelight service. Rev. Shanna will preach and yes, we’ll sing Silent Night, have candles, and all the Christmas Eve traditions. We will not have candles at our morning services, but of course, communion will be shared at all four.
Be sure to remember to share our Christmas Eve Facebook events with family and friends!
